--- Do you want God's Spirit? ---
Do you know how to take in God's spirit?
Is doing so time sensitive?
Written: September 2023
If you don't already know how, you're going to be really shocked at how simple the answer is. You may then become angry at every church you have ever been in; for not sharing with you the Bible's simple method for receiving God's spirit. You probably should be angry at them!
The obvious first answer is we need to pray to God for his Spirit, of course. What then, though? After we have prayed for God to give us His Spirit, how should we proceed? Jesus provided the very simple answer: Christ said, "The words that I have spoken to you are spirit and are life!" (John 6:63) So, if you want to take in or consume God's spirit, just pick up a Bible and read the words of His Son. Simply obey God's only later day command when he said: "This is my son, the beloved, listen to him." (Mat 17:5) Then, Jesus's teachings are recorded for you in the four short Gospel Books of Matthew, Mark, Luke and John. (The size of the Bible is daunting, but the Gospels make up only about 5 percent of it. And, those Gospels are the focus of the entire rest of the Bible - Gal 3:23-25)
This webpage is kept very short because the answer to the question asked is so very simple. No church or group of men can give you more than helping you see your need to actually listen to Christ. That's the limit of what humans have to offer... (Along with helping you understand why you can't really trust anyone except Christ! [Mat 7:15] And yes, that does mean you must carefully evaluate what I am saying. Just read this, and then, and this is the most important part, read one of the Gospels through to prove this is what Jesus taught... - A ling to the Gospels in easy to read and reputable translations. Matthew, Mark, Luke and John) Just understand this simple truth: God told each one of us to listen to his son, (Mark 9:7) and then, Jesus said his Father's spirit lives (Heb 4:12) in the words Jesus spoke. (John 6:63; Rom 8:11 of 1-11; 2 Cor 3:6 of 4-6; Mat 3:11 of 10-12; Mat 10:19-20 of 16-20) Simply listening to Christ is working the works of God. (John 6:28-29; Mark 3:31-35) This whole website exists to make that simple truth clear. Our effort to direct you to Christ and to warn you must listen to him alone, is made necessary because most churches, many unknowingly existing as Satan's tools, (1 John 5:19 of 18-21; 2 Cor 11:13-15) work tirelessly to obscure and hide that basic truth; that "Christ's words" are your only hope. All Religionists are seeking their own glory (John 7:18 of 14-18) and want you to imagine you need them and/or their sect to connect you with God; that you will gain God's blessing only by having "their" approval. Most religious groups actually assert if you are not an approved member of their sect, you can not please God. How sad for them, and for all who follow them. As for you, follow Christ! Once you understand your need to actually listen to and follow only Jesus Christ, (Mat 7:15-16) by reading and re-reading the Gospels through from beginning to end, in that way coming to really know Jesus, that is the sum of all I have to offer. From that point forward, you are better served reading one of the Gospels through every day... This website "can" still help you, however, by assisting you to continue to really believe you must listen only to Christ, and to understand why that is true; even while living amongst a wicked world full of naysayers. As all those many sects encourage you to believe in anything besides this simple truth of hope through faith in Christ, along with the knowledge that God's Spirit lives within the words of Jesus, you need to be encouraged toward Christ.
What about "your" urgency in taking in God's Spirit to build faith? As I read the Bible, your life depends on it; right now! Jesus warned a tribulation was coming, (Mat 24:3; Mat 24:7-14 of 3-14 - The words of Jesus Christ are "the Good News of the Kingdom" mentioned in that linked Scripture, and which you are now hearing; and, I hope, sharing with others...) but then Jesus went on to promise God would intervene to stop our day's tribulation from destroying all of us. (Mat 24:21-22) That intervention by God is Armageddon. There are many indications the tribulation and looming Armageddon are happening now. Most of the world does and will think what I say is foolishness, just as they did with Noah and Lot. (Gen 19:12-14; 2 Pet 3:3-4 of 1-10) Even among those who assert they are Christians, and have convinced themselves they are taking Christ's warning seriously, many have allowed themselves to be deceived to imagine it is an approved membership in some religious sect that is providing them deliverance. They must renounce such membership associations in favor of giving public witness they are Christians; made so only by having personal faith in the words of Jesus Christ, and that God's spirit taken in through Christ's words is their lone means of salvation. (Rom 10:10 of 9-10) In doing so, they direct everyone who will listen to Jesus Christ, rather than to the sect of men they have previously followed (worshiped). This ain't rocket science! You can't get God's spirit and blessing from me, or any other human or group. Only your intimate faith in what you personally know to be the words of Jesus Christ can provide you faith for salvation. (Luke 13:25-27; Mark 7:5-9 of 1-9) No exceptions... (Mat 17:5)
